The Société des Hôtels Littéraires was created by Jacques Letertre, a book lover and collector, who wished to share his love of books by devoting fourstar hotels to his favourite writers.
The Hôtels Littéraires (Literary Hotels) invite you to learn more about an author and his books in a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere. They are also cultural centres, and partners and organisers of many events.
Following Le Swann, which is devoted to Marcel Proust, in the 8th Arrondissement of Paris, we chose Gustave Flaubert in Rouen, Alexandre Vialatte in Clermont-Ferrand and Marcel Aymé in Montmartre. The Hôtel Littéraire Arthur Rimbaud is the fifth in the collection, and further hotels dedicated to your favourite writers will definitely be created.
